Safety & Prosperity

THE RIGHT CHOICE

FOR PIMA COUNTY

Prosecuting for over 16 years at the County, State, and Federal levels,

Mike Jette possesses unparalleled experience to make

Pima County safer and more prosperous.

The management crisis at the Pima County Attorney’s Office is a leading factor in why Mike Jette is running for Pima County Attorney. Key personnel have resigned, local law enforcement officers and victims are disappointed with charging decisions, and the result is the erosion of our quality of life.

Mike has dedicated his career to safeguarding and advocating for victims and small businesses, while ensuring equitable treatment for those accused of wrongdoing, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender/sex, or socio-economic background.  With an extensive background in investigating and prosecuting various criminal cases locally and federally, and even contributing to international efforts in places like Pakistan and the Philippines, Mike possesses a wealth of experience, as well as a profound understanding of the emotional toll and hardships experienced by victims, and the far-reaching consequences endured by many involved in the criminal justice system.

As a Tucson resident of over two decades, Mike’s commitment to Pima County extends far beyond the courtroom.  He's dedicated much of his free time and efforts to serving on several boards, including the Tucson Museum of Art, The United Way Senior Coalition, and Tucson Clean and Beautiful, where he notably held the position of board president for six years. He has also volunteered his time coaching the Special Olympics, as well mentoring high school mock trial teams, and sharing his expertise as an instructor on Professionalism with the Arizona State Bar.

In addition to his extensive legal career, he has also earned an MBA and a Masters in International Security, further equipping him to efficiently manage an office and bolster the security of our neighborhoods against cross-border threats.  He has recently left his position at the Justice Department to begin his campaign to become the next County Attorney for Pima County, and bring his years of experience and dedication to public safety into a position where he can have the best possible impact for the safety and prosperity of our community.
